The studio behind the Persona series, Atlus, has unveiled its financial performance for the fiscal year concluding March 31, 2026. The company reported robust growth in its profit figures, with operating profit climbing 92.5% year-over-year and net profit increasing by 74.2% (as noted by GameBiz).

Although Atlus did not introduce any major new console games during this period, the company attributes its success to the multiplatform launch of Raidou Remastered, which expanded its player base both in Japan and internationally. The release of Persona 3 Reload’s Nintendo Switch 2 version and the debut of the live-service PC/mobile title Persona 5: The Phantom X also broadened the Persona franchise’s audience. These efforts have propelled the series to a cumulative 30 million units sold. The company also highlighted Metaphor: ReFantazio winning “Game of the Year” at the 2025 Japan Game Awards as a key factor in strengthening its brand recognition.

Looking ahead, Atlus acknowledges that rising inflation and escalating game development expenses are creating industry-wide stagnation, necessitating urgent adaptation. However, the company remains optimistic, stating that “the diversification of distribution models has enabled us to create an environment where we can deliver content and services globally over the long term, irrespective of device or platform; consequently, our expectations for the growth of our game business remain high.”

Atlus has several major releases on the horizon, including Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6. The Persona 4 remake is scheduled for February 18, 2027, while Persona 6’s release date remains to be announced.
