Enthusiasts of otome games may want to take note of Cyber Paranoia, a psychological medical romance adventure set within a psychiatric care facility. As a patient diagnosed with a peculiar mental affliction, you engage in over 40 “treatment sessions” alongside a stunning, pink-haired android.
These sessions involve various tasks, from gently patting the android’s head to “disciplining” him by repeatedly striking his neck. The actions you take will influence certain metrics. While your character must manage their Mental Energy and Stamina, the android possesses values such as Mental Energy, Stamina, Treatment Efficiency, Joy Level, Suffering Level, and Treatment Score that require meticulous attention.

Beyond the sessions, you also oversee your daily schedule. This involves submitting progress reports to your overseers, taking breaks, engaging in romantic encounters with your android, and enhancing him.
The way you enhance the android depends on your individual preferences. Boosting his Humanity and Infatuation can make him more drawn to you, whereas an increase in his Obedience will make him less inclined to defy your commands.

Your choices and upgrade decisions not only determine which of the 30+ endings you’ll experience but also mold the android’s personality and the narrative’s trajectory, which can range from heartwarming to grim (the developer cautions that certain routes contain explicit material, including violence, psychological abuse, medical procedures, and adult themes).
Cyber Paranoia takes approximately 10 hours to fully complete and is tailored for fans of psychological science fiction thrillers, android romance, and yandere characters. The game boasts over 300,000 words of narrative content complemented by a distinctive, CG hand-drawn art style (plus, you can select from six outfits for the android).
Crafted and distributed by a solo indie developer, Cyber Paranoia is currently in development for Windows (Steam). A free demo is also available.
