The humble swordsman from the countryside continues to show that experience is far more valuable than impulsive youth. The animated adaptation of the light novels Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru (From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman) released a fourth official trailer packed with action and confirmed the addition of two key voice actors.

New characters will debut in the story starting from the seventh episode. Renowned seiyuu Kensho Ono will voice Warren Flumvelk, a former student of protagonist Beryl Gardinant who now rules as lord of a border territory. Popular Sumire Uesaka will portray his younger sister, Shueste Flumvelk, a refined young noble. Both join Beryl’s journey, who after leaving his quiet rural dojo was named special instructor of the imperial knights, reuniting with his former apprentices now elite members of the kingdom.
