SpiralAI has issued a statement addressing the improper use of assets from the newly launched Atelier RyzaChat: AI Your Midsummer Dream Story with AI Ryza (unofficial translation). While the AI chat RPG lets players engage and chat with Reisalin โRyzaโ Stout in a narrative-driven RPG and chat format, some users have taken their experience too far. Notably, multiple occurrences of players altering message content and extracting the gameโs assets in ways that violate the terms of service have recently surfaced on social media platforms.

Regarding message manipulation, Spiral AI has confirmed cases of
โprompt injection,โ where players deliberately alter message content to compel Ryza to deliver responses typically restricted. These include out-of-character, explicit, or harmful content. This violates Article 8, Section 1 of the terms of service, which forbids IP rights infringement through actions like bypassing technical restrictions or using generated messages for inappropriate purposes.
In terms of asset extraction, Spiral AI notes that certain users have extracted game filesโincluding character assets and voice clipsโfor content creation and other uses. This also breaches the terms of service, as it involves reverse engineering.
Some have even created images and videos of Ryza that closely resemble in-game visuals. Spiral AI suspects these were AI-generated and confirms they were not developed by the team.
Alongside urging users to review the terms of service and avoid prohibited actions, Spiral AI intends to collaborate with relevant authorities to take appropriate measures against severe instances of malicious behavior.
RyzaChat: AI Your Midsummer Dream Story with AI Ryza is currently available in Japan for iOS and Android. A global version of the game, supporting English, Brazilian Portugese, Indonesian, Hindi, and Traditional Chinese, is slated for a future release.
