A cold splash of water for those expecting high-stakes suspense. The official website for the anime adaptation of the manga Junket Bank confirmed this Wednesday that the series will no longer premiere in October as planned, indefinitely postponing its TV launch.

The production’s official statement cites animation scheduling issues, requiring more time to deliver a high-quality product. No new debut date has been set, but they will announce a new broadcast window once the project is reorganized.

Studio CUE has entrusted direction to Seiji Kishi, known for Assassination Classroom. Makoto Fukami handles main scripts, Masanori Shino designs characters, and acclaimed composer Taku Iwasaki creates the soundtrack. Key cast includes Soma Saito as Shin Mafutsu, Rikuya Yasuda as Akira Mitarai, Wataru Hatano as Keiichi Shishigami, Daisuke Hirakawa as Reiji Murasame, and Koki Uchiyama as Haruto Hinagata.
