The path of ninjas and spirits is reaching its final climax. The animated adaptation of the manga Black Torch has unveiled its final trailer to build excitement for episodes 11 and 12, hinting at the confrontation that will decide the fate of countless souls and conclude this action-packed story.

The new preview offers a glimpse of the fierce final battle where Jiro and Rago must give their all to emerge victorious. The series, which premiered on July 4, will air its long-awaited finale next September 19. This production is handled by the studio 100Studio under the direction of Kei Umabiki, featuring Go Suzuki in character design and Gigaemon Ichikawa in script supervision and writing, while renowned composer Yutaka Yamada brings the soundtrack to life.

The project stands out for its musical and visual elements, including the opening theme “Freeze Me Up” performed by the rock band SiM, and the group I Don’t Like Mondays. providing the ending theme titled “Groooovy”. The technical team is rounded out by Yumi Nakamura, Masahiko Suzuki, and Mariko Kinoshita in secondary character designs, Shunya Kikuchi in conceptual designs, Sachi Takahashi and Shoko Imaizumi in art direction, along with Hirotaka Naito in 3D animation direction.

About Black Torch

Created by Tsuyoshi Takaki, the original Black Torch manga began its serialization in December 2016 and concluded in August 2018, compiling a total of five volumes. The story follows Jiro Azuma, a young descendant of a ninja lineage with the unique ability to communicate with animals. Though he often appears rough, his life changes dramatically after saving a mysterious stray cat named Rago, who turns out to be a powerful spirit. By fusing with him to survive, Jiro gains supernatural abilities that pull him into a secret war against dangerous spiritual creatures.
