Developer and publisher ODD No has revealed that the offline version of Link! Like! Love Live! will be removed from the App Store and Google Play on October 30, 2026, at 12:00 JST. Players looking to continue enjoying the game after this date are advised to log in and download all required data prior to October 30. Following this date, the app will no longer be available for installation or re-download from the store listings.
The offline version was introduced immediately following the online version’s service termination, and was initially set to be delisted at the end of September, indicating that the deadline has been extended by approximately one month.
An official announcement on the Hasunosora Girl’s High School Idol Club site clarified that refund applications for the in-game currency, SIsCa, will conclude on September 30 at 12:00 JST. Refunds will be handled throughout October, with applicants receiving further guidance on the process at a later time.
Debuting in May 2023, Link! Like! Love Live! was a virtual idol deck builder/rhythm game hybrid that was part of the Love Live! Series’ then-current media mix project, Hasunosora Girl’s High School Idol Club. Despite attracting a substantial player base, the game was reported to be an exceptionally expensive endeavor for ODD No.
In April 2026, the developer disclosed the shutdown of Link! Like! Love Live!, citing escalating operational expenses and a shortage of personnel. The game’s closure was largely attributed to its “real-time calendar” feature, which enabled players to track the idols’ school activities in real time, with in-game events synchronized to a real-world calendar. According to a statement from ODD No, the operational demands were “unimaginable” and “significantly higher than for any standard live-service game”.
ODD No was ultimately issued a bankruptcy commencement order by the Tokyo District Court on August 5, with the Tokyo Shoko Research firm reporting that the company’s debts had reached 10.32 billion yen (around $65.5 million USD) as early as the fiscal year ending December 2024.
The offline version of Link! Like! Love Live! will cease to be available for download after October 30, with support for the link password feature concluding on the 20th.
