Under the direction of Yuji Yanase (the same behind the two seasons of By the Grace of the Gods), the anime promises to keep us hooked with the machinations of the nobility. The scripts are handled by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, who already knows how to handle combat tension thanks to his work on Record of Ragnarok. And as an extra gem for old-school fans, the character designs are by Kazuko Tadano, a historic illustrator in the industry who worked on none other than the classic Sailor Moon.
Synopsis of The Insipid Prince’s Furtive Grab for The Throne
Arnold is the seventh prince of the Adrasia Empire and the court’s laughingstock. Everyone calls him the “insipid prince,” especially because his twin brother is a prodigious talent revered by the entire nation. However, behind that facade of absolute mediocrity, Arnold hides his true identity: Silver, one of only five SS-ranked adventurers on the entire continent. When his younger brother, Leo, decides to seriously run for the throne, Arnold decides to pull the strings from the shadows to ensure his victory. With the unexpected help of a beautiful and mysterious assistant, the strongest prince of all will begin a secret war full of manipulations to control the empire’s future.
