viviON, the parent company behind the well-known Japanese digital game, doujinshi, and ASMR platform DLsite, has revealed its upcoming cloud gaming service, viviON Games. Set to debut in 2026, the service will enable users to play PC games on their smartphones using the OOParts Engine, a technology acquired by viviON’s subsidiary EISYS in the previous year.

viviON Games will utilize the OOParts cloud gaming engine to stream games directly to users’ phone browsers through dedicated servers. This approach eliminates the need for downloads or installations, simplifying the experience for anyone looking to try the service.

The project was initiated with the aim of making PC gaming more accessible. Recognizing that many individuals juggle gaming with other responsibilities, the service is designed to let people enjoy their favorite titles during short breaks. Since the platform is built around PC games, developers won’t need to undertake porting efforts to bring their games to viviON Games.

While viviON has previously launched mobile apps such as DL Play Box and its updated DLSite GamePlay, which allowed DLsite-hosted indie games to be played on mobile devices, the new viviON Games is expected to feature a distinct game library.

Although the initial game lineup is still being finalized, viviON Games will operate on a one-time purchase model for each title instead of a subscription-based system. viviON states that this approach will help them “generate revenue based on sales volume while preserving each game’s value.” The company hopes this model will encourage game companies and developers to utilize viviON Games to reach a broader audience.

viviON Games will be showcased at this year’s BitSummit PUNCH indie game festival in Kyoto from May 22 to 24. Attendees can try seven titles, including Yomawari: Lost in the Dark, Seifuku Kanojo, KemonoMix Re, One Way Heroics Plus, Terminus Historia, Return to Shironagasu Island, and The Clingy Ghost (note that these may differ from the final launch lineup). viviON will also provide consultations on game sales and distribution for developers and companies at the event.
