Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War reveals trailer for its epic finale

If you’ve been following the adventures of the famous orange-haired anime character, prepare tissues and book an appointment with your therapist. The production team of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War just dropped a bombshell: the main trailer for The Calamity, the fourth and final part of this massive adaptation. And to hype us up, they confirmed the legendary story’s conclusion will officially land in the summer season, specifically in July 2026.

Admit it, splitting this huge plot arc into four cours (parts) was the smartest move by the production committee. Since the franchise returned from the dead in October 2022, we’ve only received pure visual excellence. After enjoying the second part in 2023 and being traumatized by the brutality of The Conflict at the end of 2024, directors Tomohisa Taguchi and Hikaru Murata have proven the wait is worth every second. Plus, having creator Tite Kubo meticulously overseeing the project guarantees volumes 55 to 74 of the manga will receive a god-tier adaptation.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Synopsis

Peace is shattered abruptly when warning sirens sound throughout the Soul Society. Residents from different areas are vanishing without a trace, and chaos erupts in Seireitei. Meanwhile, in Karakura Town, Substitute Soul Reaper Ichigo Kurosaki and his friends face a new mysterious enemy. This is all the work of the Wandenreich, a hidden empire of lethal Quincys led by the all-powerful Yhwach. Declaring open war on the Soul Reapers, the Wandenreich launches a large-scale invasion threatening to destroy the balance between worlds. Upon learning of the impending annihilation, Ichigo wields his Zanpakuto once more to fight the final battle in a bloody conflict that will change history forever.

Are you mentally prepared to say goodbye to Ichigo and the gang, or will you need to reread the manga to cope with the wait until July?
