Capcom’s recent financial results presentation for the fiscal year ending March 2026 reveals that the company added 210 employees over the past year, raising its total full-time workforce to 3,976 (as noted by GameBiz).

This expansion appears to be primarily centered on development staff, whose numbers grew from 2,846 to 3,011 during the fiscal year. Capcom had earlier stated its intention to onboard over 100 new full-time employees annually, and the company reaffirms this approach in its latest presentation, stressing the value of diverse age demographics and fostering knowledge transfer between generations. For the current fiscal year (concluding March 2027), the studio aims to recruit an additional 170 full-time development staff, bringing the total to 3,180.

Capcom’s commitment to its workforce is further demonstrated by the consistent growth in employee compensation. In the previous fiscal year, per employee annual earnings (salary plus bonuses) climbed by 7%, reaching 10.13 million JPY or about $64 thousand USD. This marks the continuation of an upward trajectory observed since 2023.

Additionally, Capcom plans to finalize construction of a new office near its Osaka headquarters in 2027, which will house a dedicated research and development center. The company has also acquired adjacent land for a future development facility (as reported in 2025).
