As the launch of Dead or Alive 6 Last Round draws near, Koei Tecmo’s Team Ninja has outlined the full details on how players of the original version can migrate their beloved DLC costumes and game progress to the definitive edition.

Steam and Xbox users simply need to launch Last Round using their Dead or Alive 6 account and download their associated DLC (the latter step being exclusive to Xbox consoles) to ensure their costumes carry over. PlayStation gamers, however, must first apply Dead or Alive 6’s update 1.23 to the base game before accessing Last Round on the same account.

Transferring save data is a straightforward process. No matter your platform, all you need to do is launch Dead or Alive 6. The game will automatically detect all compatible data, enabling you to bring your progress from the same account (ensure you remove any existing Last Round data before transferring your base game progress).

While DLC costumes and progress from Dead or Alive can be moved to Last Round, nothing can be carried back from Last Round to the base game.

Team Ninja has also provided a comprehensive list of save data and DLC content that can and cannot be transferred to Last Round. The list is extensive, but some non-transferrable save data includes match replays, option and costume settings, player rankings, Fighter Levels, Fighter Points, Player Points, Pattern Parts, Fight Records, and Fight Trends. For DLC, no costumes for Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond will carry over, along with previously owned Premium Tickets and hair color changes.

Dead or Alive 6 Last Round is scheduled to release on June 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
