Japanese indie creator Jinbey Aoyama has unveiled the Steam store page for the upcoming 3D action-adventure game, Marie Android, on June 20. The title is slated for release sometime this summer and has been under development for a minimum of five years.

Marie Android centers around its namesake character, a diminutive robot with a default appearance resembling a young girl. With her enigmatic abilities, Marie can transform into an incredibly muscular form, compress herself into a flat shape, and even morph into a tank. Leveraging her shape-shifting skills and the support of her companions, Marie sets out on a quest to rescue Akacha Town.

Players will engage with puzzles and combat as they traverse the town and its adjacent dungeons. Certain obstacles will necessitate flattening to access previously unreachable spots, whereas others—such as barred gates and formidable foes—will demand that you increase your size and force your way through. Every region on the map introduces unique mechanics that must be mastered to advance.

Developer Jinbey Aoyama has been active in the VTuber community since 2018. While their VTuber persona also goes by the name Marie Android, they began discussing the game on social platforms around July 2021. After a prolonged hiatus following a December 2024 update, they resurfaced on June 7, 2026 to announce the game’s release window. Although Aoyama handles nearly every aspect of development alone, VTuber Pochi Korone, with whom the Marie Android VTuber has collaborated previously, has contributed her voice acting to the project.

Marie Android is scheduled to launch sometime this summer on Windows via Steam.
