The latest installment in the Princess Maker series of bishojo games, Princess Maker: Children of Revelation tasks players with raising a young girl named Karen Daidoji (the protagonist of the quiz adventure spin-off, Princess Maker Q) into a proper lady. As her caregiver, you prepare her meals, select her attire, and organize her daily activities. Routine tasks involve studying, mastering magic, and caring for farm animals, all of which enhance Karenโ€™s proficiency in various skills. Engaging in these activities also fosters relationships with other characters, potentially leading to lifelong bonds.

The journey isnโ€™t without its trials, as the world is fraught with demons. While hunting demons isnโ€™t ideal parenting, strategic exploration and combat based on Karenโ€™s abilities can yield experience boosts and valuable treasures.

Each playthrough culminates in one of 53 unique endings, accompanied by a summary of Karenโ€™s life story. Additionally, players receive a Destiny Card, which simplifies subsequent playthroughs.

The 0.9.7 update for Princess Maker: Children of Revelation introduces substantial new content, such as five new dresses for Karen, a new Destiny Card, and adjustments to how schedules affect ending outcomes. Numerous bug fixes have also been applied. Looking ahead, GEAR2 aims to enhance the gameโ€™s language support and add an Event Album for viewing acquired event illustrations. More endings are currently in development.

Princess Maker: Children of Revelation is currently in early access for Windows, SteamOS, and Linux (Steam).
