The official Mobile Suit Gundam website has revealed that a fresh anime series will debut during a special panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), scheduled for July 23 from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. local time in Room 6BCF at the San Diego Convention Center. For those who can’t make it to the event, a livestream will be available on the official Gundam YouTube channel, starting at 7 P.M. UTC on July 23, offering a full rundown of the announcements.
The live discussion will include guests from Japan. Alongside the new anime series, they will delve into the franchise’s current landscape and its upcoming ventures, covering new projects in Japan and around the world.
Beyond the panel, SDCC will feature a Gundam exhibit. Attendees can explore Bandai Namco’s Gundam Rogue Orbit action-adventure game, upcoming and exclusive event merchandise, as well as photo opportunities and a towering Gundam statue. Displays themed around the new series will be added to the exhibit once it’s officially unveiled.
