The production committee behind the animated adaptation of Kanojo no Tomodachi (known in the West as My Girlfriend’s Friend) raised the stakes by releasing its first promotional video and a second visual. This preview showcased the bold designs of the protagonists and confirmed a spicy debut in Japanese television for October.

For flawless curves and seductive looks on screen, animation is handled by studio Quad, under the strict supervision of producer WWWave Corporation and its new label, Deregula. Director Takashi Andō aims to adapt the work’s constant tension, supported by scripts from Gokō Shiraki. The crucial element of this series lies in its appealing visuals, a responsibility entrusted to Ryūji Iwata for character design, who also serves as chief animation director to ensure every suggestive detail is perfect.

Notably, WWWave Corporation is known for handling the AnimeFesta TV block, specializing in mature productions bordering on adult content, so expect plenty of fanservice without restraint.
