The indie game MeMento*fragMent is an upcoming visual novel heading to Steam. Crafted by the one-man indie studio Kūsou no Kōbō, this title invites players to reclaim their own memory by immersing themselves in a series of records depicting a girl’s journey through a post-apocalyptic world.

In MeMento*fragMent, you awaken as an amnesiac with no memory of your past. Trapped in a dimly lit space filled with enigmatic fragments, you discover that collecting these pieces projects glimpses of a young girl surviving in a post-apocalyptic world. With no other clues, you set out to piece together these fragments and uncover the identity of this mysterious girl.

Leaked screenshots hint at the initial conflict that sparked the apocalyptic war, set on November 24, 2891 within the game’s universe. A white-haired girl wrapped in bandages is depicted in desert-like locales and ruins. The Steam page for MeMento*fragMent describes it as featuring point-and-click visual novel mechanics, with an estimated playtime of 1 to 3 hours. The game offers three distinct endings based on player decisions.
