Japanese developer Irem and publisher City Connection have revealed that a new HD remake of the classic 90s arcade beat ‘em up Ninja Baseball Bat Man is currently in development. The revamped title, now known as Ninja Baseball League-Man: Bases Loaded, is set to arrive on December 10. This announcement was made alongside the unveiling of the game’s Steam store page and dedicated website.
The original Ninja Baseball Bat Man was first published by Irem in 1993 as an arcade-exclusive side-scrolling beat ‘em up. Players assumed control of one of four “League-Man” protagonists, each tasked with recovering the stolen Golden Baseball Statue from the Baseball Hall of Fame. The upcoming release of Ninja Baseball League-Man: Bases Loaded represents the first time this title will be accessible beyond arcade machines.

As detailed on its Steam store page, Ninja Baseball League-Man: Bases Loaded will retain the arcade original’s support for up to four local players. In addition to the classic “Regular Season” mode, the remake introduces a new high-difficulty arranged mode that features altered enemy placements and additional stages. Pink, who appeared as a supporting character in the original arcade version, will now be playable as a fifth character in the remake.

Players will have the option to switch between the original soundtrack and a newly arranged set composed by Yosuke Yasui. The game also includes a Minigame Mode, which offers fresh activities like home run derbies and car races.
Ninja Baseball League-Man: Bases Loaded is slated for release on December 10, 2026, across PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
