Enduring the hell of school bullying every day is not easy, but holding onto a beautiful memory can be the only lifeline. Author Koushi officially confirmed that his popular romance and suspense work, You Are a Four Leaf Clover (Kimi wa Yotsuba no Clover), will make it to the small screen with an anime adaptation.

The story follows Uichi, a high school boy who used to be quite popular but ended up becoming the target of relentless school bullying. Despite the daily torment he faces in his school’s hallways, the young man refuses to give up on the promise he made to Yotsuha, his first elementary school love. Before moving to another city, they vowed that he would become a great veterinarian.

Just as the pressure from his bullies reaches a critical point and Uichi feels on the brink of breaking, Yotsuha suddenly reappears in his life. At first glance, she seems like the same sweet and innocent girl he remembered from childhood, but a closer look reveals a dark and dangerous determination in her eyes. While the news of the anime project excites readers, production details about the animation team, voices, or release date have not yet been revealed.

Written and illustrated by Koushi, the original manga began its serialization in the pages of the Weekly Shonen Champion magazine by Akita Shoten in July 2024.
