Blaming the person who keeps your entire house afloat is never a good idea, and the aristocracy of fantasy worlds is about to learn that lesson the hard way. Publisher Earth Star Novel confirmed that the light novel series Maid Nara Touzen Desu. Nureginu o Kiserareta Bannou Maid-san wa Tabi ni Deru Koto ni Shimashita (Looks like a Job for a Maid! The Tales of a Dismissed Supermaid) will make the leap to the small screen with its own animated adaptation.

The story follows Nina, a young woman who worked tirelessly in Count Mirkwood’s mansion until a completely false accusation ruined her routine and threw her onto the streets. Unemployed and with little to lose, the girl decides to embark on a journey on her own. However, Nina is far from a common employee: she possesses an absurdly wide range of skills that quickly turn her into a savior for the strange characters she encounters along the way.

Throughout her journey, this super employee begins solving problems for peculiar figures, from a mage unable to channel her own magic and an inventor whose experiments always end in disaster, to a small orphan with serious difficulties feeding himself. Meanwhile, the mansion that expelled her begins to crumble into chaos without her presence, proving that no one in that county valued enough the person who solved absolutely everything behind the scenes.

For now, the publisher has not shared information about the production team, the animation studio in charge, or the projected release window for the series. Nevertheless, the announcement has generated considerable curiosity among fans of daily fantasy stories and versatile protagonists.
