The publisher described this final installment as the definitive conclusion to the story of the dark lord who travels a futuristic world at high speed, also recalling the great reception of its animated adaptation aired at the end of 2024.

The work written by Daigo Murasaki and illustrated by Kureta became a beloved title within the publisher’s catalog. Maou 2099 is a fantasy, science fiction, and cyberpunk story created by Daigo Murasaki. The plot follows Veltol Velvet Velsvolt, a powerful demon king who ruled a magical world five hundred years ago until defeated by the hero Gram. In the year 2099, after a dimensional cataclysm that merged his original world with a hyper-technological Earth, his loyal maid Machina Solege manages to resurrect him amidst the streets of a futuristic Tokyo.

However, weakened and betrayed in this new social order, Veltol is forced to adapt to the modern era while seeking to reclaim his throne through peculiar methods like becoming a content creator in live streams while uncovering the dark secrets of the metropolis. The franchise inspired two manga adaptations and a 12-episode television anime series produced by J.C.Staff at the end of 2024.
