BanG Dream! reveals first look at sequel of It’s MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica
Ave Mujica’s new movie previews the animated sequel’s January 2027 premiere.
The drama, heavy music, and complex relationships for Bushiroad’s musical project members are far from over. Alongside the cinema release of BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora, the franchise’s official channel surprised fans with a second trailer focused on A Song of Romance, revealing a major announcement: the animated TV sequel featuring It’s MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica will officially arrive in January 2027.
The news surprised viewers attending the film’s early screenings in Japan, as a promotional video confirmed the arrival of this new series. This announcement solidifies the franchise’s commitment to maintaining the mature and complex narrative tone that has defined both groups in their previous works.
The project has maintained a steady pace. Following the great reception of BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! in mid-2023, the story received two compilation films at the end of 2024 titled Haru no Hidamari, Mayoi Neko and Utau, Bokura ni Nareru Uta. These releases served as a direct bridge to the BanG Dream! Ave Mujica TV series aired early in 2025, now setting the stage for the major narrative clash in 2027.
