Capcom’s latest financial results presentation for the fiscal year ending March 2026 reveals that the company bolstered its team by 210 employees, now totaling 3,976 full-time staff (as noted by GameBiz).
This growth appears to be concentrated in development roles, which expanded from 2,846 to 3,011 employees over the same period. Capcom had earlier stated its intention to onboard over 100 new full-time staff annually, and the recent presentation reaffirms this plan, highlighting the value of diverse age demographics and facilitating knowledge transfer between generations. For the current fiscal year (ending March 2027), the studio aims to recruit an additional 170 development team members, raising the total to 3,180.
Capcom’s commitment to its workforce is further evident in the consistent rise of employee compensation. In the last fiscal year, individual annual earnings (salary plus bonuses) climbed by 7%, hitting 10.13 million JPY or roughly $64 thousand USD. This marks the continuation of an upward trajectory since 2023.
Additionally, Capcom is on track to finish construction of a new office adjacent to its Osaka headquarters by 2027, which will house a dedicated research and development hub. The company has also secured nearby land for another future development facility (as reported in 2025).
