Nihon Falcom has revealed its financial performance for the initial three quarters of the fiscal year spanning October 2025 to June 2026. The company’s report, sourced from GameBiz, indicates substantial year-over-year improvement across all key areas, with net revenue climbing by 111.3% and operating profit soaring by 485.2%.

Nihon Falcom attributes this robust showing to the success of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, which has seen strong sales both domestically and internationally on platforms like Steam, Switch, and PS5. The game’s overseas performance is especially noteworthy, as evidenced by the company’s licensing division achieving a 121% year-over-year revenue increase—this division handles sales through overseas publishers. The developer is now focused on creating the follow-up title, Trails In The Sky 2nd Chapter, with plans for a global launch in September 2026.

Regarding Kyoto Xanadu, Nihon Falcom’s most recent and somewhat innovative release, its sales figures are not included in this financial report due to its July release date. Furthermore, there is currently no scheduled release date for a worldwide version of the game.

Nihon Falcom’s financial outlook for the complete fiscal year remains consistent, with projections indicating double-digit growth across all profit metrics.
