The fantasy manga My Sword Saint Master Is Too Cute to Live With gets an anime adaptation
Studio Deregula will produce the story about the cohabitation of young Eugene and the Sword Master.
Combining unbeatable swordswomen with ridiculously bold moments is a formula that never fails. To the delight of fantasy fans with fanservice touches, the official animated adaptation of the manga My Sword Saint Master Is Too Cute to Live With! has just been confirmed. Along with the announcement, the production committee shared a first promotional image featuring the franchise’s star waifu.

The story follows Eugene Dawson, a young man determined to become the world’s strongest warrior. To achieve this, he becomes the apprentice of Liza Parsandra, a legendary Sword Master with unmatched physical skill. The real problem begins when they end up living under the same roof, as Liza is an incredibly distracted and clumsy woman in her daily life. Their constant domestic blunders, combined with inevitable physical contact during intense training, turn their cohabitation into a time bomb full of romantic tension and comedic entanglements.
The sensual seal behind the production
This gem of a webcomic format was created by Kennoji (known for the Drugstore in Another World franchise) with beautiful illustrations by R_ringo via the KadoComi portal. A detail that will please fans of the ecchi tone is that the animation will be handled by Deregula, a studio and label specializing in adapting works with mature and bold themes. While details about the release date and voice cast remain under wraps, the project is shaping up to be one of the spiciest launches in the anime industry.
Given that the protagonist is an unbeatable warrior on the battlefield but completely helpless and clumsy in daily life, do you think studio Deregula will deliver the level of fanservice and animation this romantic comedy deserves?
