Bushiroad introduced the Palworld Official Card Game alongside its inaugural booster pack, “Dawn of Palpagos,” on July 30. Inspired by Pocketpair’s popular monster-taming survival game, the trading card game secured over 3.5 million pre-orders globally and has been flying off shelves at retailers due to overwhelming demand.
On August 12, Bushiroad’s official Japanese account issued a statement acknowledging a persistent stock shortage. The company apologized to fans unable to purchase the game and confirmed it is exploring solutions to distribute the Palworld TCG more widely.
For the Japanese edition of Dawn of Palpagos, which also sold out, Bushiroad revealed a fresh shipment scheduled to arrive at pop-up stores on the evening of August 14. Additionally, the company noted that booster boxes will be sold without shrink wrap, likely as a measure against resellers.
