Nostalgia continues to thrive in this Reiwa era. The production committee behind the remake of Ranma 1/2, animated by the busy studio MAPPA, has just given us great news for the upcoming release season. Through a spectacular promotional image full of the chaotic charm of this iconic franchise, it was officially confirmed that the awaited third season will land on Japanese television and streaming platforms next October 3rd.

For this new stage filled with martial arts and absurd love entanglements, the production decided to go all out with its star castings. The incomparable Masako Nozawa joins the team to voice the elegant yet imposing Grand Master, while the talented Jun Fukuyama will portray her grandson, the desperate Sentaro Daimonji. Moreover, the energetic Minami Tanaka will take on the role of the intense Tsubasa Kurenai. Additionally, the legendary actresses Mayumi Tanaka and Saori Hayami also join the series, though the studio keeps the details of their characters under strict secrecy to surprise the community at the right moment.
