In September 2022, when she was just 22 and her career was starting to take off, Hoshiki had to abruptly halt all her professional activities. What began as a persistent and strange leg pain that prevented her from standing during her live readings, ended with a devastating clinical diagnosis: acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
