The story follows Mitsuki Kou, a highly skilled elite player feared online as “Crim the Talent Hunter.” Just before starting high school, his father—a video game developer—asks him to test a new total-immersion MMORPG. However, upon logging in, Kou discovers he’s not only trapped in the body of a beautiful waifu pureblood vampire but also appears in mysterious ruins far from the starting city with no damn disconnect option. Instead of panicking, the protagonist decides to make the most of his new race’s broken skills to enjoy the game before school starts, forming a powerful guild that will make him known worldwide as the Crimson Devil.

The creator celebrates the leap to TV

The work, written by resn and illustrated by Yachimoto, built a solid fanbase thanks to its successful manga adaptation launched in 2022. Upon the anime’s announcement, the original author shared an emotional message expressing immense gratitude to the illustrator, the production team, and readers who have supported the franchise since day one, hoping this project introduces the wild adventure of Crim to many more people.
