The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System released its second full trailer confirming the premiere for July 2, 2026 and revealing the musical themes for the season: the ending “Lv. 1 Shokugyō: Ningen” (Level 1 Occupation: Human) by ReoNa, and the opening “Awake” by SPYAIR for the first cour. The series will air during two consecutive cours.

The second full trailer delves into the visual and musical identity of the series, showcasing more of the world where Elma Edvan is exiled by her family after manifesting a class considered defective during the divine blessing ceremony. What changes the equation is that Elma has knowledge from a past life playing a game with mechanics almost identical to this world, allowing her to read situations others couldn’t anticipate and turn an apparently weak position into a strategic advantage.

Kodansha published the first printed volume with illustrations by Jaian in June 2022, reaching the fourth volume in December 2025.
