Koei Tecmo has just unveiled Time of Serenity and a Journey to Tomorrow (unofficial translation), the follow-up to their successful Atelier Ryza binaural ASMR compilation, “A Soothing Rest and Promise for Tomorrow.” The original series placed listeners in Klaudia’s perspective, offering a “peaceful and tender night” with Ryza, but this new installment appears to swap their roles.
Set to launch in mid-August, the latest ASMR compilation will spotlight Klaudia Valentz, voiced by actress Hitomi Owada. Similar to the first entry, the audio will portray “peaceful moments shared between Ryza and Klaudia.” With the official artwork bearing the Atelier Ryza 3 logo, it’s clear the story unfolds in the same universe as the previous one, taking place after Ryza 3 and featuring a slightly older Ryza and Klaudia.
The announcement of “Time of Serenity and a Journey to Tomorrow” came as a surprise, yet it was hardly unexpected. Given that “A Soothing Rest and Promise for Tomorrow” was a massive success that soared to the top of DLsite’s charts upon its November release last year, raking in an estimated $110k in revenue within five days and nearly 23k units sold to date, a sequel was inevitable.
Beyond the key art and a brief description shared via Atelier’s official X account, the tracklist and additional details for “Time of Serenity and a Journey to Tomorrow” remain undisclosed at this time.
