CONDOMINIUM: NO EXIT, a forthcoming psychological horror game from South Korean indie studio Ghost Train, has recently launched a PC demo (Steam, itch.io) ahead of its 2026 debut.
This 2D adventure centers on Rio, a gentle young woman who has battled health issues since childhood. One typical day, after a dispute with her childhood friend, Rio boards her usual train home. Suddenly, her phone rings and emits an eerie glow, pulling her into a puzzling dimension known as Rubicon.

In this unfamiliar realm, Rio meets a conceited guide named “Unhappy.” Fascinated by Rio, Unhappy offers assistance in escaping Rubicon. Yet, as they delve deeper into this disordered world, Rio is compelled to face harsh realities she had long suppressed.
Condominium: No Exit’s gameplay involves traversing the grotesque and surreal landscapes of Rubicon while avoiding Rio’s personal pitfalls. The narrative unfolds based on player choices and actions. Players will also tackle puzzles and mechanics that mirror the characters’ emotional turmoil. Most dialogue consists of conversations with Unhappy, while lore fragments are discovered through item pickups.

Depending on player decisions, Rio may successfully return to the real world and mend her emotional wounds, or she could succumb and remain trapped in Rubicon indefinitely. The game delves into themes of identity, renewal, and loss.
CONDOMINIUM: NO EXIT is slated for a PC release (Steam, itch.io) in 2026. A complimentary demo has been available since August 28.
