Rudeus Greyrat’s journey in this vast fantasy world will take a short break before entering one of its most intense phases. In a promotional video, the production of the third season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation (Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu) officially confirmed that the second part of this installment will premiere in 2027.

This third season began airing on July 5, covering key arcs of the original story. After delving into the Chaos Breaker arc in mid-August, this strategic pause sets the stage for adapting Eris’s training arc, one of the most anticipated stages by light novel readers, marking the growth of the red-haired warrior.

The adaptation team also introduced voice actors joining the main cast to enrich this part of the adventure. Actress Ai Kakuma reprises her role as the fierce Eris Boreas Greyrat, while the renowned Haruka Tomatsu will voice Nina Farion, and veteran Tetsu Inada will portray the imposing Gal Farion, promising dynamic combat and martial training for the characters.

The season’s music maintains an outstanding level with themes performed by industry veterans. Singer Yuiko Ohara returns to the franchise to perform the opening theme “Ketsui no Uta,” while legendary artist Mika Nakashima lends her voice to the ending theme “Inori, Owareba,” a piece written and composed by Shinoda, guitarist and vocalist of the rock band Hitorie.

Written by Rifujin na Magonote, the series was first published digitally on the Shosetsuka ni Naro portal between 2012 and 2015, later transitioning to print with illustrations by Shirotaka under Kadokawa’s MF Books label, concluding its main story in 26 compiled volumes. The plot follows a 34-year-old unemployed man who, after dying in a hit-and-run while saving teenagers, is reborn in a world of swords and sorcery, retaining all memories of his past life as Rudeus Greyrat, determined to live this second chance with full dedication.
