Development studio Gino has recently revealed plans for a demo of its upcoming 3D magical girl action roguelite game Bless You Again. The demo is slated for release sometime next week (October 11-17, 2026) on Windows (Steam) and will allow players to experience the game’s prologue.

The developers have noted that the demo will showcase approximately 5% of the full story and around 30% of the gameplay systems present in the complete version. This includes core elements such as Blessings, skills, and combat builds. Players can choose between two characters, Lily and Yoru, to explore the first of five dungeons. The demo permits further exploration of the dungeon after completing the prologue, though there is no confirmation yet on whether progress will carry over to the full game.

Bless You Again follows the journey of Lily, a magical girl who ventures into a dangerous labyrinth deep within a forest. Accompanied by her spirit companions, she navigates the maze’s perils in search of the Philosopher’s Stone concealed at its heart.

At the beginning of each run, players can select Lily or one of her four elemental spirits—representing fire, water, wind, and earth—each offering a distinct playstyle. Lily, known as the battle mage, alternates between physical attacks and spells. Successful melee strikes with her staff generate mana, which can be used to unleash powerful spells.

Dungeons are procedurally generated, with layouts and item drops varying with each playthrough. Throughout your adventures, you’ll gather Blessings—enhancements that provide random buffs. Common Blessings grant minor advantages, such as stat boosts. Rarer Blessings, however, can fundamentally alter your combat approach. As you advance, you’ll discover ways to combine these Blessings, crafting your own unique build and playstyle. Death is not the end in Bless You Again, as some progress persists between runs, allowing Lily and her spirits to grow stronger.

The full version of Bless You Again will expand upon the demo, introducing additional characters, dungeons, skills, and Blessings, along with enhanced features for existing systems. A first playthrough of the main story is estimated to take about 8-10 hours. With its cel-shaded anime-inspired visuals and full Japanese voice acting, Bless You Again promises an experience akin to watching a magical girl anime.

Bless You Again is scheduled to release on Windows (Steam) in 2026. A free demo is set to launch next week, October 11-17, 2026.
