Despite its name, Drunken Goddess Reflux from Japanese studio Alliance Arts and director Fuyuki Hayashi (also known as WHO YOU) doesnβt star a divine woman, but instead follows Fam Sour, the demon of alcohol. Taking place in Hellβs Pandemonium bar, you go head-to-head with Fam in a Russian Roulette drinking contest, aiming to make her vomit her soul before you do.
Youβll face a tough opponent in Fam, who is not only Hellβs biggest drinker but also fixated on you, even offering immortality through Hellβs liquor if you lose the game.
The gameplay involves picking a drink from a lineup of look-alike beverages, while Fam selects from the rest. Each round, the drinks have varying strengths, and the one who consumes the stronger spirits over time is closer to losing.

What sets Drunken Goddess Reflux apart from typical Russian Roulette drinking games is its approach to later rounds. As you and Fam become more drunk, you can bend or break the rules using unconventional methods. For instance, stabbing your hand with an ice pick can sober you up, removing three points of intoxication. You can also introduce rule changes, like adding a stronger drink called Spiritum, to spice things up.

Between drinking sessions, you can explore the 3D Pandemonium bar to find hidden secrets, chat with other characters, and make choices that affect your journey. With seven possible endings, Drunken Goddess Reflux offers more than just a drinking gameβitβs a chance to uncover the mysteries of this hellish world.
Drunken Goddess Reflux is scheduled for a 2026 release on Windows (Steam).
