Fans discover exact Bocchi the Rock and Girls Band Cry scenes in NTE
The Chinese game NTE recreates Bocchi the Rock scenes without an official collaboration.
April 30, 2026
Imagine walking the same alleys where your favorite anime band had its first rehearsals, without needing an expensive flight to Japan. Thatβs exactly whatβs happening with a new open-world game called NTE. Players started exploring the map and stumbled upon something incredibly familiar. The streets, bridges, and even posters on walls are near-exact copies of the real locations seen in hits like Bocchi the Rock! and Girls Band Cry.
Virtual otaku pilgrimage
Overnight, this game became the definitive simulator for seichi junrei, the famous pilgrimage that the otaku community makes to visit sacred sites of their favorite series. Digital explorers confirmed entire map areas are perfectly replicated versions of cities like Shimokitazawa and Kawasaki. They even found the iconic pedestrian bridge that appears in the first episode of the Toei Animation franchise. And it doesnβt stop there. People report finding camping zones suspiciously similar to those in Yuru Camp, making it clear the creators filled the environment with hidden references.
