Palworld developer Pocketpair has released a special illustration to celebrate a fan’s Palworld-themed wedding. The fan, Japanese X user Wani, has a particular fondness for Cattivas.

On May 5, Wani announced on their personal account that they’d tied the knot. For their ceremony, they chose to adorn their reception venue with two Cattiva plushies. Dressed as a bride and groom, the confident bipedal cats wear hand-stitched satin tuxedos and wedding dresses, respectively. The high quality of the outfits indicates a significant amount of effort was put into their creation – complete with a pearl necklace, veil, (fish?) and more. Wani mentioned that the Cattivas were responsible for welcoming guests at the venue’s entrance.

Just a week later, Pocketpair’s official Japanese account acknowledged the newlyweds with a custom illustration, accompanied by the message “Congratulations on your marriage! The Cattivas’ outfits were so lovely, one of our creators went ahead and drew them!” The artwork mirrors Wani’s craftsmanship, featuring the bride and groom Cattivas holding up a cake to mark their wedding. Wani remarked “there is no greater joy than this.”

On the topic of game developers and wedding tributes, last year, Konami created a unique Yu-Gi-Oh! card as a wedding present for Japanese content creator Hajime Syacho, transforming the standard “Ritual Sanctuary” card into an illustration of him and his wife.
