Asta and the Black Bulls are ready to make waves again. After a long wait that kept fans on the edge, production officially confirmed that the second season of the anime Black Clover will premiere next October 3rd. Along with confirming the return to the Clover Kingdom, the bands responsible for the music in the continuation of Asta’s journey to become the Wizard King were revealed.

This new installment will take the story to a critical point with the invasion of the Dark Triad, the ruthless rulers of the Spade Kingdom who wield the fearsome power of the underworld demons. With Queen Lolopechka in danger and captains Yami Sukehiro and William Vangeance kidnapped, Asta must cross the line and enter forbidden territory to harness the true power of a demon if he hopes to save his friends.

To accompany this intense conflict, band WANIMA will perform the opening theme titled “Kienai Riyu.” Meanwhile, the global eight-member male group ONE OR EIGHT will handle the ending theme with their song “Yellow Brick Road,” which will be released on digital platforms on October 7th. MIZUKI, a member of the band, shared his excitement about participating in this project, which he has been a fan of since its beginning, noting that the song’s message reflects the spirit of Asta and his companions overcoming their limits and moving forward despite adversity.

Based on the successful manga written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata, the series began its serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2015 before moving to Jump GIGA, concluding its run in May 2026 with over 24.5 million copies in circulation worldwide. The first season of the animated adaptation aired between 2017 and 2021, followed by the movie Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King in 2023. The story is set in a world where magic is everything, following Asta, a young man born without a single drop of magical power who clings to his dream of becoming the Wizard King using Anti-Magic, an ability capable of nullifying any spell.
