After a bumpy on-screen journey and several adjustments to its broadcast schedule, Chitose Saku’s story is finally ready to continue. Distributor Kadokawa officially confirmed that the second part of the anime Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle (Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka) will premiere on October 13th, announcing a new promotional trailer and details of its theme songs.

To build excitement before the big day, the production will air a special compilation episode numbered 13.5 on October 6th, perfect for refreshing memories of what has happened so far. The new trailer also gave a preview of the soundtrack that will accompany this stage, highlighting the opening theme “Saku,” performed by the group Cider Girl, while singer aruma will handle the ending theme titled “Doko nimo Ikenai Mama.”

The project retains the same main team, with Yuji Tokuno directing at studio feel., while the light novel author, Hiromu, works closely on scriptwriting and supervision alongside Naruhisa Arakawa. Character design continues under Sumie Kinoshita, and music composition falls to Yoshiaki Fujisawa. It’s worth noting that the first half debuted in October 2025, facing technical issues that pushed its final episodes to this spring.

About Chitose in the Ramune Bottle

Based on the light novels written by Hiromu and illustrated by raemz, the title began publication in June 2019 under Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko label. The story follows Chitose Saku, an exemplary, popular, attractive high school student with excellent social skills at Fujishi High School in Fukui Prefecture. However, his routine takes a turn when he’s tasked with convincing a reclusive classmate to return to school, sparking a deep story of youth and personal growth.
