Nexon Games revealed on August 13 that it has imposed disciplinary measures on players of Blue Archive’s international version who were found exploiting the game’s systems “to gain an unfair edge.” A total of 122,046 accounts have been permanently suspended, with the developer stating they “will not condone any illegal programs under any circumstances as they may potentially damage the game’s environment and other players.”
Blue Archive’s worldwide servers undergo routine anti-cheat operations, many of which target the game’s Total Assault and Grand Assault modes. However, while prior ban waves resulted in approximately 2-digit permanent account suspensions, this most recent enforcement represents the largest number of bans in Blue Archive’s recent history.

Although the announcement did not provide specific details, the wording of the statement led some to speculate that the bans are connected to Blue Archive’s Tactical Challenge (PvP) and Total Assault (Solo Raid) modes.
Tactical Challenge allows players to match their students (characters) against other players and NPCs in automated battles, whereas Total Assault involves players competing in bi-weekly events to determine who can defeat a Raid Boss the quickest. Success in either of these modes unlocks in-game rewards to enhance your students and account, making them probable targets for cheaters.
Blue Archive is accessible on PC (Steam), iOS, and Android.
