The anime Delta to Gamma no Rigakubu Note confirms its production
The story of science, school mysteries, and romance by Takuma Sakai is coming to screens.
Combining a passion for science with the entanglements of first love sounds like the perfect formula for an endearing story, and Japanβs publishing market has just given the green light to its next big project. During the Dengeki Bunko Fall Festival Online 2026, it was officially announced that the light novel series Delta to Gamma no Rigakubu Note (The Science Notes by Delta and Gamma) will get its own anime adaptation for television.
To celebrate the projectβs reveal, a special promotional video was released featuring voice actress Kanna Nakamura as Rio Iwama, with visuals by the original novel illustrator, Asagi Tosaka. Artist Lap Tsutsumi, who handles the manga adaptation, also joined the celebration by sharing a commemorative drawing to mark the announcement with readers.

The plot closely follows the daily activities of the Tsunagai High School science club, a group of students united by a deep fascination with scientific phenomena. Between test tubes and theories, the club members dedicate themselves to solving the small mysteries that arise in their daily lives, ranging from strange campus urban legends to unexpected situations in their surroundings. However, the real challenge begins when the laws of physics are not enough to explain the clumsy but sincere romantic feelings that start to blossom among them.
