FuRyu, the Japanese publisher and developer known for JRPG series such as The Caligula Effect, Crymachina, and Varlet, has unveiled a new project. On April 22, the company created an official X account for a forthcoming console game under the username Project Alice

The sole post on the account features an eerie video clip. Amidst a backdrop of staticky noise, a girl’s voice is heard murmuring “I’m sorry, I’m sorry” in a hypnotic tone, then escalating to a frantic plea of “Don’t blame me! I know! Please stop it. I’m sorry!” The visuals in the clip, along with the X account’s avatar and header, initially appear completely black, but closer examination reveals them to be artwork showing a bloodshot, weeping eye.

This teaser hints that FuRyu’s upcoming title may carry a heavy dose of emotional tension and possibly horror elements. Beyond this, the only concrete detail provided is a specific date and time – April 25, 2026, at 20:30 (likely JST). FuRyu states this is when further details about the mysterious game will be shared. In the meantime, additional cryptic hints will be posted to the account over the next three days. It seems the publisher is encouraging fans to analyze these clues and hypothesize about what will be revealed on April 25.
