For those who thought maximum difficulty was an insurmountable obstacle, Allen just proved that it’s only the beginning. Just as the thirteenth episode concluded the second season, the animated adaptation of Hell Mode revealed the news fans of fantasy were waiting for: the series will have a third season.

The production came with a first visual artwork focused on the next stage of the story, which will adapt the acclaimed arc of conquering the Rango S dungeon. The promotional image shows Allen alongside Meruru and his imposing giant golem Tamtam ready for battle. This new phase promises to drastically increase the threat level, forcing the protagonist’s group to face ridiculously powerful creatures in an environment where any mistake can cost them their lives.

The series has maintained an impeccable work pace by the studio Yokohama Animation Lab. After the first season of twelve episodes premiered earlier in 2026 and a second part aired during the summer season, concluding at the end of September with thirteen episodes, the creative team is back to adapt one of the most anticipated arcs for novel readers.

About Hell Mode

Born from the imagination of Hamuo, the work began as a web novel published on the Shousetsuka ni Narou portal in November 2019, later transitioning to print under Earth Star Novel by Earth Star Entertainment with illustrations by Mo, and also featuring a manga version illustrated by Enji Tetta.

The plot follows Kenichi Yamada, a dedicated gamer obsessed with extreme challenges, who, after trying a mysterious game with no interface or tutorials set on “Hell Mode” difficulty, is reincarnated in a fantasy world as Allen. In this new world, leveling up requires an absurd amount of experience compared to normal difficulty, but his unique summoner skills and calculating mindset allow him to navigate a world full of dangers.
