CCMC Corporation, a subsidiary under hololive’s parent company COVER, has announced that their indie publishing arm, holo Indie, will reopen its doors for new game submissions from May 1 to May 31. This marks the first submission window under the publisher’s newly updated submission guidelines.
Launched in 2023, holo Indie aims to offer structured support for indie developers creating “unofficial” games featuring hololive’s intellectual property. The label has already produced several notable titles, including holoVillage: Our Cozy Days (by Roboqlo), Chrono Gear: Warden of Time (by Team Chrono Gear and GalaxyTrail), and hololive Treasure Mountain (by BeXide Inc.).
Following a surge in popularity and an overwhelming volume of submissions, the company declared in February that it would take an indefinite hiatus to refine its review and support processes for future projects. After a brief pause, holo Indie has now returned with a revamped “seasonal” submission approach.
The updated system replaces the previous year-round open submissions with three annual windows. As detailed on the publisher’s official site, submissions will be accepted in January, May, and September, with each period lasting approximately one month. Notably, submissions may still be considered outside these windows if made during events where holo Indie is present. The company’s calendar allocates the months of February to April, June to August, and October to December for reviewing the applications received in January, May, and September, respectively.
