holoVillage: Our Cozy Days, developed by Roboqlo and published by CCMC (the creators of the holoIndie brand), is a laid-back RPG that features chibi renditions of hololive production talents. The game recently welcomed its first significant free update on August 24, introducing all five members of hololive DEV_IS unit FLOW GLOW as villagers, along with a new beach area, enhanced villager interactions, and fresh combat mechanics. Coinciding with the update, a Summer Swimsuit Series DLC, offering 48 swimsuit outfits for the characters, has also made its debut.
First launched on Steam on April 24, holoVillage: Our Cozy Days puts players in charge of building a home and enjoying time with chibi hololive members. Activities include farming, fishing, mining, crafting furniture, exploring dungeons, and developing the village.
With the latest update, players can now welcome Isaki Riona, Koganei Niko, Mizumiya Su, Rindo Chihaya, and Kikirara Vivi into their village. The game has also been enriched with furniture and decorative items inspired by these five talents.
The update introduces a new Beach area where players can hang out with hololive talents, buy new items, and catch special mini live shows in the evening. The new Villager Interaction System also allows players to strengthen their bonds with the talents by gifting items or assisting with their requests. Those who forge strong connections may receive profile cards and other exclusive gifts from their favorite members.
Combat has been expanded with the addition of new actions: Players using swords and katanas can now dodge, while those with hammers and axes can guard. The update also unveils a high-difficulty dungeon and mysterious new locations, providing players with additional challenges to conquer.
holoVillage: Our Cozy Days is currently available on PC (Steam). To celebrate the new update and the DLC launch, the game is being offered on the platform at a 20% discount.
