Officially named the Utena Eau de Toilette (or simply “The Scent of Utena-chan”), this cosmetic wasn’t created arbitrarily to drain wallets. Its existence is completely canon and draws its concept directly from the wild events in manga chapter 62 by Akihiro Ononaka. To make the product more fun and faithful to the work, the packaging includes the descriptive phrase in English “Smells Like Baby Spirit… (by Kiwi)”, referencing exactly how Araga Kiwi described the scent of her beloved waifu. The bottle will cost 6,600 yen and promises to be one of the franchise’s most peculiar items.

Dedicated fans can try this fragrance in person during limited MHAK gals! POP UP STORE events, opening in Tokyo from August 29 and later in Osaka during October, before reaching select online stores. Alongside the perfume, attendees can buy exclusive merchandise like creator-signed illustrations, acrylic figures, and a coveted Leopard plush. This commercial wave arrives at an excellent time, as the manga resumed its serialization successfully and the hit animated adaptation has its second season confirmed in production.
