Independent studio GamjaGames has just dropped a demo for their upcoming title, Left Not Right, a 2D top-down puzzle adventure set to land on Steam next August 2026.Β
Boasting the motto βno friends required,β Left Not Right is a solo experience where players guide two characters through the labyrinthine floors of a subterranean research lab. The twist? You must simultaneously control both protagonists β Lefty and Righty β using distinct controls for each hand.Β
The gameβs challenges are designed to test your multitasking abilities, featuring elements like conveyor belts, electrical hazards, switches, and other tricky mechanics. Whatβs more, any harm inflicted on Lefty will mirror on Righty, and the same applies in reverse. Your mission is to navigate each stage with both characters unscathed before time expires. Upon completion, youβll unravel the mystery behind Lefty and Rightyβs striking resemblance and their true identities.Β

Although Left Not Right is crafted for a single-player audience, the developers acknowledge that players might invite a friend to assist with one character. However, they hint that such collaboration could diminish the intended challenge and enjoyment.Β
A free demo is available now, with the full game scheduled for release in August 2026 on PC via Steam.Β
