During the Nintendo Direct on June 9, Nintendo and Monolith Soft unveiled Xenoblade Genesis, a fresh installment in the franchise set to debut on the Switch 2 in 2027.
The early reveal trailer highlights a world governed by a force known as Anima, with the Vesselai—warriors capable of harnessing Anima and employing it in battle. The narrative seems to revolve around students at an academy named Leukos, who are preparing to become Vesselai.
Xenoblade Genesis is penciled in for a 2027 release. Furthermore, enhanced Switch 2 versions of Xenoblade Chronicles 1-3 have also been announced.
