Japanese publisher Good Smile Company and developer NEKO WORKs have revealed that the free-to-play mobile gacha game, Nekopara Sekai Connect, will arrive on PC through Steam starting September 28. The publishers also noted that the Steam News section on the store page will feature updates covering the game’s setting, cat girls, and various in-game systems leading up to its release.
The PC version of Nekopara Sekai Connect will include a cross-account linking feature, enabling players to transfer their mobile progress to the Steam edition upon launch.
For those unfamiliar, Nekopara Sekai Connect is a spin-off from the original Nekopara visual novel series. Unlike the original, this title is a sandbox-style café management game that focuses on collecting catgirls via its gacha system. Created by series writer Sayori, Nekopara Sekai Connect delves into the wider aspects of the series’ worldbuilding, offering insights that longtime fans have only seen in glimpses.
The announcement of the Steam release for Nekopara Sekai Connect coincided with news of a new cat girl joining the roster. As part of a limited-time pickup gacha banner, Mayumi, a five-star new student from Sakura Hills Nekos College, will be available. The gacha banner will debut in the mobile versions after server maintenance on August 24, 2026, and will run until September 7, 2026 at 15:00 JST.
A story update is also on the horizon, introducing the sixth and final chapter of the Sakura Hills Nekos College storyline. To complement this new chapter, Good Smile Company will host a limited-time login campaign offering gacha tickets for the Mayumi banner. Additionally, the VR Cat Tower end-game content will receive an update unlocking floors 201F through 300F for all four cat types (main, sweet, pop, and passion cats).
Nekopara Sekai Connect is scheduled to launch on September 28, 2026, for PC (Steam). The game is already available on iOS and Android. The game supports English and Japanese, with additional Simplified Chinese language support planned for the future.
