The Prisma Illya anime will reach its final conclusion in 2027
Studio SILVER LINK will conclude this magical story in a television format.
The production committee behind the magical alternate universe of Fate has finally revealed all its cards. After leaving us intrigued for years, it was officially confirmed that the anticipated sequel of Licht Nameless Girl will be titled Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Finale. Far from being a simple movie to wrap things up, this new animated adaptation will arrive in an ambitious television format and is scheduled for 2027, promising to definitively close the long-running story of our favorite magical girls.

Itβs quite curious how this ending was developed. General director Shin Onuma admitted that initially, they had considered producing another feature film to conclude the story, but executives decided to green-light a television series to avoid rushing anything toward the final goal. Led by studio SILVER LINK and under the direct supervision of the original manga author, Hiroshi Hiroyama, the team now has ample time to adapt every detail. This is backed by the impeccable work of Kazuya Hirata on the character designs and solid scripts by Kenji Inoue and Hazuki Minase.
